A few years ago, I decided to 'do a little
something' for my parents 45th wedding
anniversary.  At the time I was very much
into cross-stitch, and I designed a lot
of my own designs based on Jo Verso's
enchanting figures.

After a lot of research and some careful
parental questionning, as well as roping
in my two sisters and brother, I had 
accumulated plenty of ideas for the sampler.
It was then a question of deciding which
graphic to use where.

Six months of careful planning and plenty
of stitching later, the sampler was finished
and framed, and presented to my Mum & Dad on
their anniversary.  To say they were gob-
smacked is an under-statement!
