Hello and welcome!

I'm Suzie B from Southend, Essex, England and I love patchwork & quilting - in fact anything crafty! Quilting, cross-stitch, Gallery Glass, decoupage, decorator blocks, scrapbooking, rubber stamping, card-making - you name it, it has found its way into my small and crowded flat - I sometimes wonder that I can find the bed at night...

I have a cat called Sophie who sheds hair everywhere... I've been patchworking for several years, and am currently working on several quilt tops - one is a Tumbling Block design using Moda "Playing with Marbles" and extremely bright, another is based on Grandmothers Flower Garden using scraps of floral prints.

1998 was my parents 50th Wedding Anniversary, and I had planned to make a quilt for their bed, but somehow the September came all too quickly. Never mind, I thought, lets get some nice yellow plants and flowers instead, and finish the quilt for Christmas. Christmas Eve dawned, and I'm still quilting...! They absolutely loved the quilt - follow the link below to see Mum & Dads Cat Quilt.

2000 - one of my work colleagues announced she was going to have a baby and so the cribquilt was born - click the link to read the story and see the quilt.

2001 - I finished swapping with people from all over the world for my Millennium Quilt - I received well over 2000 different squares, but am still sorting them out into their different colour hues, shades and gradiants...
